About the Teacher:
I am Terri Allbright and I have been teaching for 17 years in Cullman City Schools. I taught Kindergarten for 6 years then transferred and taught First Grade for 9 years at Cullman City Primary School. This is my second year to be the Reading Curriculum Coach at East Elementary. I received my Bachelor Degree from Athens State and my Masters Degree from the University of Alabama. Roll Tide!!! I have two grown children. My son Chris Allred is a Real Estate Agent in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Then I have a daughter Jessi Allred who is a senior at UAB majoring in Biology. I love spending time at the beach. It’s my favorite place to be.
About my Job:
My job allows me the opportunity to work with all the wonderful teachers at East Elementary. I support the students, parents, and Mr. Wiggins as well as the teachers. My focus is on student learning, facilitating professional development for our teachers and influencing schoolwide commitment to literacy.
Mission:
My mission for East Elementary students is to provide them the understanding of what is takes to be a skillful reader.
